To be blunt:
This government is treating a child changing their name and pronouns as being as dangerous as most narcotics, and treatment as if it were shooting up bleach.
The "caution" exerted is extremely disproportionate.

Challenge for Keir Starmer: Will he say this?

Or at least say the headline here, which is that Trump's US cannot annex Greenland.
We continue to stand in solidarity with Denmark and Greenland.

Greenland is an autonomous territory in the Kingdom of Denmark. Any changes to that status are for Greenlanders and Danes alone to decide. (1/2)

The BMA has come out swinging for the rights of all trans people in healthcare settings and beyond - both patients and healthcare providers.

Genuinely brilliant news amongst the bad - please read it and share, and remember that we are NOT alone. Not by a long stretch.

Reminder that the new head of the EHRC, Mary-Anne Stephenson, donated to Bailey's crowdfunder. In any just society, this should lead to humiliation, apology and resignation.

Coming soon to the United Kingdom.
The Trump administration is attempting to force a new term for gender affirming care to call it "sex rejecting procedures." This term was literally made up this year by the far right group Ethics and Public Policy Center in a comment submitted in April 2025. It is now being used widely by HHS.

I cannot see the slightest justification for allowing anti-trans hate group ‘Sex matters’ to comment on this story.

If you agree with me, a complaint to the BBC only takes a few moments.

“I reached out to NHS Sussex for comment on this and I got no reply, just a cold wall of silence. Silence is how NHS Sussex have conducted their investigation.”

We’ve always known that there is a concerted effort by the NHS to erase trans kids from society.
One day, we will have our public enquiry.

This means that if you exclude trans people you are doing it voluntarily and because you want to.

If you want to exclude trans people you will be held responsible for your actions.

The piece was then scrubbed - replacing an accurate description with a transphobic slur instead of the language trans women use to describe themselves
