A distressed sixteen year old sends an impassioned letter explaining how fear of the withdrawal of her gender affirming care has left her suicidal.
But it’s ok, NHS Sussex ICB are on it with a dedicated helpline. That should fix things. The evidence for the efficacy of helplines is legendary.

and yeah it turns out if you near unilaterally exclude trans voices from the news, reporting, journalism, media in general and at the same time do PR for the bigots who want us dead or gone trans groups like Bash Back will start to feel like they have no alternative to break stuff.

I was personally promised the council would fly the trans flag months ago. Yesterday I was told they forgot to do it and there's nothing anyone can do to rectify their mistake.
5/7 We’re also disappointed that Brighton & Hove City Council promised to fly the trans flag over both town halls this weekend in solidarity, then backed out, citing Black History Month. As if intersectionality doesn’t exist. Once again, our community is pushed aside by institutions.

I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.
I urge @bphillipsonMP to reject it on grounds of practicality and human rights.

It still blows my mind the double standards the media has for trans victims vs cis victims. The Prime Minister, Health sec, head of the Met police yesterday were defending the violent Graham Linehan.
Today, undeniable proof this 57 y/o man assaulted a 17 y/o girl. Not a peep of self-awareness.

This year, every Trans Pride in the UK has taken the collective decision to exclude all political parties from officially participating in our events. That includes marching under party banners or hosting stalls within our event spaces. 🧵
