This is how the Mail has covered a 70% fall in net migration.

The Government should stop kidding itself it will ever get credit for being anti-migration. They could cut numbers to zero and there would still be front pages blasting them for making the UK a socialist wasteland no one wants to come to

(It's also probably got a load of knotty music clearances that they're too stingy to faff over. I mean, look at the horrors they did to Limmy's Show)

“an earlier animal” suggests to me perhaps a thylacine or mammoth or if we’re really lucky, a dinosaur.

I also think, even if people do think this, which I don't think they do, the time for Argos to put their marketing pounds behind that message should be anywhere other than the 2 MONTHS OF THE YEAR that are THE PEAK OF TOY BUYING.
Why is Will from the Inbetweeners* doing a TV advert spreading awareness that Argos sells more than just toys? Of course it does, it’s Argos. I feel like there’s a whole cultural perception of Argos that’s passed me by

it's amazing that in the era of easily available numbers and many, many examples of this sports leagues are still going "you know what will get eyes on our games? putting them behind a big paywall" and then six months later being like "oh no! this didn't work!"
