The amount of restraint the people of Minneapolis have shown is INCREDIBLE. Fucking INCREDIBLE. We don't need our leaders lecturing us like children.

ICE is kidnapping and beating and MURDERING us and we're out here with fucking whistles and phones and an occasional snowball.
wooof having watched that presser just now, "don't take the bait" is a real shit thing to tell people who are, by all knowledge and information and evidence, acting in defense of themselves and their neighbors and their communities

aka do not do stupid antagonizing shit in North knowing you get to leave and the residents have to deal with the fallout.
i feel for the people of north minneapolis if they’re about to become a protest hot spot from outside the neighborhoods. this is an area often neglected and ignored by even its own elected officials. people not from over north should really be judicious in how they act coming over there
Near Lyndale and 24th Ave in Minneapolis tonight, feds have reportedly shot another person.

Preliminary info is shaky for now, hearing two people injured.

BORTAC just rolled up in an armored vehicle. A crowd is gathering outside the police tape—MPD presence as well.

Mike Johnson comes out against additional guardrails on ICE as Democrats call for it.

“I think there's a lot of Democrats playing games right now with national security and with law enforcement. And I think it's dangerous. Ice is doing what ice is designed to do by its very name.”

I want to correct a harm here. Someone rightfully pointed out that it is cishet white Minneapolitans and St Paulites who are making peace with death this week. There was a fight about it in my comments but I do agree we have to acknowledge those who were here before us.
We are not kidding or being dramatic when we say this shit. Minneapolitans and St Paulites are making their peace with death this week. How’s your week?
A week ago I think I knew maybe 3 parents at my kid’s preschool, and now I know almost all of them, and have steeled myself to give my life for their kids and their teachers if I need to.

I suggest having an actual artist refine, but please use however you see fit 🫡
