Finally got to see Billy Strings live, on my birthday! Mindblowing show! I could go back every night! It was such a different experience than the albums, while still keeping that 'grass heart. There is little else that is as fun to listen to live as a good jam band with skillful transitions.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?
