Keep thinking about the opinion poll I got right before the 2024 election where they asked me what my biggest issue was, and there was no pro-immigrant option. One of the options was border security, but that was the closest thing.

A different 20-year-old refugee in Minneapolis got abducted by ICE then jailed in a cell 5x over capacity with an overflowing toilet and no beds or blankets. Fellow detainees were denied life-saving medication and forced to sleep standing in excrement. democracyforward.org/wp-content/u...

I dealt with my three week old being hospitalized with an infection. The idea of being jailed and deported during that horrible experience, when you’re already terrified for your vulnerable baby…I feel like I can’t breathe when I think about it

My wife said AI in Outlook has started to send summary notes about emails and the summaries are longer than the emails and full of wrong info lol. "I got a 5 word email from my coworker that said 'Lunch will be at 1' and the summary said 'Your lunch meeting is now at 11' lmaoo
you know what would be a great way to market the AI technology you really want me to use but which I have thus far refused to touch?

Something that scares me, not just for practical reasons but in a disturbing "vastness of time and existence" sort of way, is that the threat of antibiotic resistance carries a possibility that we just happen to live in the only 100~ year period of human existence where this doesn't happen.
before antibiotics did people just die all the time from everything?

We are all deeply concerned that Juan and his mom will be deported and that Juan’s health will continue to deteriorate. His life is in danger because of ICE’s monstrous cruelty. I will continue to provide updates and we will keep fighting to protect them.
