the overseer of project 2025 is telling you out loud that every inch you cede on trans rights is part of the plan to create a white christian fascist state
Kevin Roberts, President of The Heritage Foundation, claims that evidence suggests a correlation between undergoing Trans Medical Care and acts of violence.

He states Heritage's public policy solution is to ban it for all ages and they're willing to work towards this goal on an incremental basis.

I'm not being polite anymore. This is an exceptionally stupid take. We engage with older art to understand what society was like then. Also, the work is GOOD. Blind Man with a Pistol is GOOD. "Sir Duke" is GOOD. "The Jeffersons" is GOOD.

Please take a minute to comment if you can.

I absolutely give Dems credit when I think they deserve credit! Just the other day, Rep. Jayapal and Sen. Markey introduced a trans bill of rights. It won't go anywhere, but it's nice hearing elected officials openly state their support in a real way.

There's a transmasculine version of this. If someone assigned female can become a man, it means there's nothing so special or powerful about men.

Each of us has the biological truth of equality between the sexes within us, as demonstrated by the ability of some to pass from one to the other.

Excellent thread on how we must understand the legal system to be able to dismantle it in the least harmful way possible.
One question I get a lot is why progressives and leftists should go to law school or become lawyers if we're abolitionists. Isn't that contradictory?

No, actually. And here's why.

Your favorite progressive politicians are extremely horny for bills that restrict access. Elizabeth Warren is notoriously anti-SWer and keeps putting her name on these bills.

Said before will say again: even Bernie Sanders signed off on FOSTA-SESTA before he VERY tepidly said he shouldn't have.
I’m glad to see people protesting Discord forcing IDs for age verification, but what I need everyone to understand is that there’s immense bipartisan pressure to make the entire internet like this, and they are likely going to succeed unless something drastic happens

Men are human beings. The social system of patriarchal masculinity is what's trash, and it hurts them too. We can change that.
