I will once again die on the hill that there are no excuses for trans people not to invest in their own protection. If you can't afford a gun, consider pepper spray or tasers. If you can't do that, invest time in exercising and learning a martial skill (should do that anyway)

Transsexuals are the only minority that's not allowed to have words to delineate our own in-group.

We receive insane levels of hostility from the extended transgender community whenever we try to talk about our own issues.
