Never forget that the reason they are so convinced you’re all getting paid is that they are all getting paid.
The fact that every right winger with influence screams "who is paying for all of this" tells you exactly how awash in cash they all are, and how much they rely on that to keep their movement afloat.
James O'Keefe says he's never seen anything so organized as the anti-ICE movement, observers--he seems to think this term is code--everywhere he goes. Who is paying for it??? he demands to know. It's like he can't even imagine people caring for one another.

Mortality rates:

Mifepristone: 0.65/100,000
Penicillin 2/100K
Viagra 4/100K

Pregnancy in the US: 22/100,000 (some states see rates >60/100K)

More people have died in ICE detention centers already in 2026 than will die from mifepristone all year. These politicians are extremely dangerous to women.
Rep. Chris Smith: "The abortion pill -- mifepristone -- is baby poison ... we now know that the abortion bill -- we've long expected this -- is extremely dangerous to women" (this is a lie)

A good example of media polarization! It happened when Clinton was in office and was used as a cudgel against Gore. Did the media amplify any scandals against the Bush administration, who was far worse?

Even after Trump is gone, the world will remember that he threatened to forcibly seize the territory of a peaceful democratic ally, and our institutions failed to immediately remove him. That makes US dangerously unreliable, not just one senile gangster.
His not being impeached by the end of the business day as a result of this threat is as much a problem as the threat itself. It’s not just Trump that the world has to worry about, it’s a GOP that supports him and Democrats who suck their thumbs and refuse to even discuss pushing to remove him

Trump was indicted by the Federal government twice; by state governments twice; and was convicted of 34 felony counts. States tried to take him off the ballot in 2024 due to his 14th Amendment ineligibility. What exactly are you proposing that people should have done? Has everybody just forgotten?
Genuinely shocking to me that this same crew of people have spent a decade trying to convince us that Dems are relentlessly fighting Trump and in fact couldn’t have fought harder, somehow including a period where Dems had total control of the government and their AG wouldn’t even prosecute him

Yup. The Presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court don't truly reflect the will of the American people, but to anyone abroad, the simple fact is that all of these entities are totally fine with shattering our European allegiances to steal Greenland just for the heck of it. They're right to be pissed.
This man is talking about stealing a country at gunpoint from nations the US is allied with. Of course Europeans hate us. You would feel the same way if you were in their place. American voters put this man in power, he didn’t seize it this time.

Trump is now confusing Greenland and Iceland: "They're not there for us on Iceland, that I can tell you. Our stock market took the first dip yesterday because of Iceland. So Iceland has already cost us a lot of money."

Appeals to the constitution become less effective every single day that people look at the way the government is functioning - not in theory, but in real life - and see that it’s apparently no longer relevant.
A headline you’d hope never to see.

But that’s TrumpWorld.

Schumer: People call him TACO, but these days it's getting hard to afford one! Can you chip in $5 today to help us hold Mr. Trump accountable for these soft shell economic policies?

So here's the thing: even if he doesn't Actually Do It, January 6th proved that They Want To Do It. All of the "well akshually"ing in the world won't prevent America's dumbest soldiers from putting three in the dome of a brown person outside of a polling place and going to Quizno's afterwards.

No, Trump can't legally cancel the midterms. Does this still seem to you like a regime that's concerned with legality? We--everyone who doesn't want dictatorship, for whatever reason--can simultaneously articulate often & loudly rule of law *and* think through its collapse and possible responses.

Republicans control all 3 branches of government. Even when they don't, both parties pump out constant rhetoric about "real Americans" living in rural areas.

The entire premise of this article is a conservative-fluffing myth. Cities have more political power because that's where most people live!

The Supreme Court only cleared the way for Kavanaugh Stops four months ago and ICE now openly engages in violent racial profiling, snatching anyone who looks non-white and treating them as presumptively guilty of a crime. Remarkable how quickly our liberties can be crushed when courts go along.
Can confirm I have personally seen three attempts just today of agents in a convoy of ICE vehicles trying to snatch random POCs along Central Ave - and then being chased off by neighbors with whistles. It's blatant racial profiling.

Minneapolis city council member says POC should stay home:
Dear neighbor,

HIGH ALERT‼️ If you are vulnerable to deportation please stay home today. I’m sorry to say this but it’s not safe to be outside. ICE is tearing families apart.

Children of immigrants please keep your family safe.

Officials tweeting about national horrors as if they're passive cable news watchers instead of the people tasked with stopping them is a deliberate form of demoralization. A smug shrug of contempt for the citizenry.

An ICE agent shoots and kills an unarmed mom, and they won’t even cooperate with local law enforcement.

the reason there are going to be more incidents like this is that you’ve hired a bunch of murderers and told them they’ll be protected and celebrated if they shoot people
Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this."
