I went to church today a few blocks from the shooting. In one day, from shots, screams and sirens, to a congregation gathered for a choir’s beautiful song. How a neighborhood begins to heal.

Praying for the victims and their families. My heart breaks for the students who were looking forward to a holiday break and instead are dealing with another horrifying mass shooting, this time in our own Providence community.

What possible use could there be to adding these two bozos to that conversation? More gangster gong show? Just what Ukraine needs, right? So shaming for U.S.

On the ground in Mississippi today seeing firsthand how climate change is driving up home insurance costs by making severe weather more extreme and more frequent. Climate change = huge pocketbook issue here and across the country. Big Oil is to blame.

Poor Chamber. All those years carrying climate-denial water for the fossil fuel industry, and now they get turned on as “woke.”

I can’t recall a single time as U.S. Attorney when I got a “no true bill” from a grand jury. Nearly unheard of. They got two, back-to-back in the same case. Whiff of “vindictiveness,” maybe?
Administration fails again to indict N.Y. Attorney General Letitia James
A grand jury has refused to indict New York attorney general Letitia James, the second panel to refuse to do so, dealing a major setback to President Trump.

Republicans refused to make good on their commitment to work in a bipartisan way to lower skyrocketing premiums.

Now, they own the massive fiscal disaster that is about to hit their constituents – health care premiums will double in a matter of weeks. 🧵

Revolution Wind “stop work” order already struck down, as unlawful. Trump DOJ declined to appeal.

Now the underlying executive order struck down, as unlawful.

Unlawful political services to fossil fuel industry donors is a recurring Trump behavior.

The campaign corruption case just argued in the Supreme Court attracted a flotilla of creepy front groups who filed “amicus” briefs — 15 of them by our count!

The Supreme Court refuses to require disclosure of the connections between them. Smelly.

As people evaluate the credibility of DOJ’s disclosure of the Epstein files, it’s good to remember the bogus effort so far.

Of course Trump would give the economy an A+ after he rigged it to enrich him, his family and billionaires...

But for the rest of America?

Higher utility bills.
Higher grocery bills.
Historically high mortgage rates.
And skyrocketing health insurance bills.

The problem for Republicans is that they’ve never had a serious health care plan; they define themselves by what they’re against. So when they have to produce, nada. Their “ideas” come from creepy billionaire-funded “think tanks,” and would fail in practice.
Why Senate Republicans aren't uniting behind a health care plan
Voting on any alternative to Democrats' Obamacare extension is likely to highlight the divisions in the GOP.
