I think an important thing to understand about brofluencer ideology is that they do not just deny that being toxic and shitty makes you a less appealing partner, they insist that women are only genuinely attracted to toxic and shitty men and being kind will instead make women lose respect for you.
I'm starting to wonder how much "the male loneliness epidemic" is just straight and bisexual women identifying low-effort, mean, and incompetent men and choosing not to date, marry, and tolerate them anymore

the thing about Bill Kristol is that he believed in everything he said and the reason he's a lib now is that he realized almost no one on his side felt the same
If the Sep. 2 boat really had "narco-terrorists" on board, questioning the survivors would have been a way to learn about how the organization worked, where more drugs were stashed, etc. But this isn't a counter-terrorism campaign. It's a shooting gallery with helpless targets.

The fact that most of the time I hear American leftists talking about Fred Hampton, they talk about how the black panthers weren't really that important to the rainbow coalition and that appealing to a broad base is more important is the greatest evidence that Americans as a whole are evil.

Interpreting the 14A as narrowly as possible—as SCOTUS has done recently in Dobbs & Trump v. Anderson—aligns neatly with the larger GOP goal of destroying the New Deal state & reviving the overtly white nationalist apartheid regime of the Jim Crow era.
There has been no debate here among constitutional scholars, historians, political scientists, anyone with a pulse really.
Any telling you that this very straightforward point, one that has been universally accepted for a century and a half, is now an "abstruse" issue is just a liar and a hack.
