Gotta say, nothing has aged better than The Shield’s “dang, I guess I lost my family, all my friends, and any chance of real employment because I’m an irredeemable piece of shit. At least ICE gave me a job and immunity.” series finale

My only real memory of this guy before all this was him being forced to do the Michael Cera Arrested Development walk out of a BLM protest for being a little mealy mouthed bitch.

Wow, I can’t believe this mother didn’t want heavily armed and belligerent assholes to steal kids that go to her son’s school

these are the people the dems are more than happy to keep funding so long as they're a little more polite when they kill you and rip your family apart.

Update — Here is what the new apparent CBS News segment "Whiskey Fridays with Tony Dokoupil" may look like:

It’s amazing that these people have skated for so many years without talent or skill that once they rise to a level of creative control, they just do “le epic whiskey time” a decade after even the lamest people stopped doing it on Fark or the Chive.
New: CBS News seems to be preparing a new segment called "Whiskey Fridays with Tony Dokoupil," per sources.

Some staff were only first made aware of it as they encountered CBS testing out set designs of a faux-stocked bar in the newsroom, featuring a large sponsor banner for Jack Daniels.

My wife, the granddaughter of Noah Cross from Chinatown, is the funniest writer in America.

Which is why she also flamed out at the Times and ended up writing for our glorified blog

It amazes me how much the media loves to gas up this Reed College graduate, small business tyrant whose path to victory was “not being Joe Kent” as if she understands that simple souls of every American yeoman farmer.

A class that really hasn’t existed for like 50 years.
Congresswoman in question is Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, whose district's population is mainly part of the Portland metro, and is the same woman who's basically formed her entire congressional career around changing the Marine Mammal Protection Act to allow and facilitate the extermination of sea lions

i think even with all the atrocities of the fascists, nothing is more demotivating and nothing makes me want to disengage from politics more than being inundated with replies from people who do not know how to think about politics beyond “dems good and wanting more from them is bad”
