Success comes in the shape of a pyramid. There’s only one PM and one Air NZ CEO at a time. Most people are working to pay bills and exist. We have over-index on the idea that everyone can slowly work through the steps to success and eventually be on top. It’s a myth.
Luxon judges everyone by his life where he probably got corporate assistance to move. And he overplays his abilities and underplays his luck. I have lived similarly to him and luck has played a much bigger part than my abilities. He is completely out of touch from the average kiwi worker.
When you lose your job you can’t just get up and go where the jobs are. You may have a lease or a mortgage. Kids in school. And what happens when you do move and get laid off from the new job? This is not realistic in the real world with regular jobs.
It's not easy being a disabled person who is getting more disabled every day it seems. It's not easy being a queer person who has to talk about misogyny all the time. It's not easy just being a person under the age of 35 in this country.
They are a right wing party that has had CGT in their election manifesto and talk about it enough that they should be pulled up on why they are so bad at it. Also they want the left vote so I want to constantly remind that they don’t deserve it

I wish I could watch a movie or read a book like a normal person but no. I have to have a huge crash out, thrash the entire song album for 3 days straight, learn the entire Wikipedia page of every actor, director, writer, whoever, and bully everyone around me to join me. So embarrassing 😅
Schools aren’t using air purifiers because they are too costly to run as opposed to data centers that are cheap as chips and fine. The way we have devalued human life ought to be studied but we have also defunded higher education so 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I will note I was sad when Tory dropped out. And I didn’t rank Little 1. However at least I don’t have to live with Ray Chung as mayor. So maybe 9/10 lolololol.
