Abolition of the family is a must. I mean this in the sense Marx proposed it in. Keep the unit if you want, but no more of parents denying children vaccines or gender affirming care or what have you.
People often use "pretentious" as a flag for anything remotely avante garde or formally complex in art, when in reality it's usually the popular, commercial stuff which is pretentious. Third act monologues saying nothing, obvious and trite allegories, so on & so forth.
I try to be open-minded but certain words make me dismiss someone’s opinions wholesale. “Authentic” as applied to food and “pretentious” for movies/books are the biggest red flags for me. Like who the fuck appointed you the realness police?

Hardly a hot take but we need to shift the definition of "good representation" from "does not reinforce stereotypes" to "accurately captures the moment-to-moment conscious and lived experiences exclusive to being this type of person living this type of life"
