Zohran walking into the Oval Office, focusing on his key policy platforms, and coming away with an unqualified win over Trump really puts into relief how bad the Democratic leadership is that it has been repeatedly rendered totally impotent and made to look like bumbling cowards by the Donald.

"Trump is a fucking idiot who gets rolled by anyone who's nice to him" theory remains undefeated, putting someone like Mamdani in there is like having Randy Johnson sub in for a 5th grade Little League game
Q: Stefanik has called Mamdani a 'jihadist.' Do you think you're standing next to a jihadist right now?

TRUMP: No, I don't. I met with a man who's a very rational person

It will always come down to pay-for-play academies and needing an EU/UK passport to access club academies overseas. A system that prices out athletes at an early age can't compete with the rest of the world. Pay-for-play is slowly chipping away at the U.S.'s place in baseball and basketball as well
As the World Cup gets closer and the question begins to again become inevitable, going to put this down as my marker.

It’s not:
“What if America’s best athletes played soccer?”

It’s:
“What if America’s best potential soccer players didn’t top out at D2 basketball and AA baseball?”

and the Falcons put a linebacker on him in coverage
T-Mac was battered during the pre-draft process, only to eventually go in the Top 10, anyway. Then, we learned that other teams were trying to trade up for him in the Top 10, as well. And now, one of the NFL's best rookies.

Gotta be a lesson in there, somewhere.

The Cardinals started putting up points with Kyler out and sent him to a new doctor that was like “oh wow Kyler your foot is actually super duper broken that’s crazy the other doctors didn’t notice this”
@AdamSchefter tweeted
Sources: Kyler Murray and the Cardinals have consulted with multiple doctors on his foot injury and have been told the timetables for recovery have been anywhere from 4-8 weeks, with an increased chance of setback until it’s properly healed. Murray now has more time to heal.

Gio is absolutely entitled to his opinion and I don't have any qualms about players getting frustrated over playing time.

But it's impossible to shake this idea that a player who reportedly half of his teammates wanted sent home is still mostly concerned about being right.
“I’m not just going to sort of sit here and take all the blame for something that was made out to be completely my fault…I was just upset that I wasn’t really playing.”
Completely tone deaf from Gio Reyna given Pochettino’s team-first messaging. #USMNT apnews.com/article/gio-...
