Love that my partner with chronic pain’s insurance is requiring a prior authorization, not for the first time, for one of the only two medications that work for him that he’s been on for 5+ years and needs in order to function. Love this.

I say this with utmost respect, but Taylor is an absolute tool for saying this privately or publicly.
I can say on good authority that it takes 7 to 10 years to develop game development skills to “good enough” to produce commercial game content. 7-10 years plus the cost of a university education.

I often think about Jonathan Cooper's posts about TLOU2, that the studio ran out of seasoned game animators because its reputation was so bad and thus had to hire film folks who had to be taught how to put games together.
