Sure, they've made an environmentally catastrophic mass hallucination disinformation plagiarism Clippy that will destabilize the world, but also their other goal is to replace human workers entirely and let us humans starve. A boycott of AI is the most important boycott of your entire life.

I really want HASC/SASC to ask Hegseth to walk them through why he thought this was an appropriate government communication
Before you ask, yes apparently this is real. He must be taking comedy lessons and substances from Elon.

i mean there's also just the fact that this is utterly unhinged and sociopathic behavior by said bacon eaters.

It's not even meaningful protest, just trying to be as absolutely unhinged as possible.
It’s also notable that TPUSA employs rabid Islamophobes like this person. Imagine what the Trump admin would do to a university if they allowed an organization that said this about Jews and pork to establish themselves on campus.

I spent a long time pontificating about the sort of "do we get rid of the incompetent idiot for a more competent (but still evil) replacement?" earlier, and the answer imho, is "always yes."

Because politics is about constraint, and constraining the Trump admin is massively important.

Does anyone have a robust theory as to why the recent reporting on follow on strikes has galvanized this response and not you know the murders they were in the first order?
Note that both of the joint Republican-Democrat Statements from the Senate and House Armed Services Committees refer to the 'Department of Defense' - not the 'Department of War' - in their statements promising oversight of Pete Hegseth's actions.

A someone with a degree in English this thread is so fucking depressing. Jesus christ.
At this point, our intro comp/first-year English course has been so heavily revised, it no longer includes a novel, or "extended reading" of any kind, no "specialized" or "historical" reading, mostly in-class assignments, no research essay...and we are still seeing a 40-50% rate of AI misconduct.

Some ppl have seemingly forgot that political news media spun up a "Biden secretly has parkinsons" story out of a doctor visiting the WH while the admin was working on Parkinsons policy or that Nuzzis big "Biden didnt remember me" piece was written when she was secretly working for RFK Jrs campaign
The actual "worse than watergate" scandal is how much news media collectively worked to ratfuck a Democratic presidency by largely inventing health/mental acuity concerns for hyperventilate about while largely ignoring the very real & worsening issues in front of their faces from Trump
Both taken this weekend:

So embarrassing how often GM streetcar conspiracy posts do well on NUMTOTs.

Plenty of legitimate criticisms of 20th century American urban planning and transportation policies that lefties should be making, but unfortunately too many socialists are so lazy about history.

Senator Kelly is correct.

Plus a Public Service Announcement:

KEY section of Department of Defense's Law of War Manual is 18.3.2.1.

The VERY rule on the "requirement" to refuse illegal orders gives as its paradigmatic example of what is "clearly illegal:
"orders to fire upon the shipwrecked."
