Teen boy whose natural powers let him blend in with the shadows, painfully shy. Local shopkeeps and teachers initially unsettled by the sudden concentration of darkness in the corners of otherwise well-lit rooms etc until they get used to saying "hi, ryan" and the darkness whispers "hi" back

Glad to see the "Chicago rat hole" (rodent-body imprint) of January 2024 Internet fame was studied more, but just to add my $0.02: Many folks missed the tracks leading away from the body imprint, meaning the squirrel (not rat) fell & splatted in wet concrete, but then walked it off. 🧪🐿️🐾

We need to push for a federal ban on the use of tear gas on civilians and in civilian areas. It's unacceptable.

Just think about this, they dropped so much tear gas near the ICE center that a school had to close because it had become toxified by the residue and was unsafe for the kids.
