Plying is my least favorite part of spinning yarn and it's still pretty cool

My left hand holding three strands of singles between my fingers, with the yarn they're being turned into going from the top of my fingers to my (out of frame) spinning wheel.
The yarn in progress is golden yellow.

I found a 19th century Cat Villain!

A huge chonk of a fluffy cat sitting on a table near an open fire. The cat is cream and grey and appears to be shaped like a barrel in a fur coat. They are scowling fiercely with their moustache and bewhiskered ears apparently flowing back into the cold wind. There's a definite vibe that this villainous cat twirls their moustache as they evict orphans into the aforementioned blizzard and think Scrooge was an easy-going lightweight. They are magnificent.

Diaper access? Knit the shirt bit and then a flat panel in an hourglass-ish shape to cover baby's butt and come back up to tie at the waist. Can add some belt loops to help it it stay put if you want.

It took me maybe five minutes to think of that option. Just...do better, pattern writers, wtf.

Knitted onesies are cute, yes, but if you can't figure out how to design it so it won't potentially harm a baby, don't release the fucking pattern.

Neck buttons? Leave the back collar open and knit a cord tie on each side.
