The park in my neighborhood has been running the sprinklers nonstop for the past two days because of the fire danger. Yikes.
🌡️ Another warm, dry with near-record high temperatures. Highs in the mid-60s will be shy of our record (70°, 1980). High clouds increase this afternoon.

‼️ Strong winds and high fire danger tomorrow, with 60-80+ mph gusts in the foothills and 40-60 mph gusts in Denver.

"Mr. Rork's statements were incorrect and are not Party policy. That has been made clear to him by CDP leadership.“

As a Black autistic woman, I don’t get the luxury of being “eccentric” or “harmless.” My autism is filtered through racism and misogyny before I ever open my mouth. That’s intersectionality!

This is an intra-group conversation that has not received enough attention imo.
Autism advocacy that ignores race is incomplete at best and harmful at worst. You can’t fight ableism while pretending racism isn’t shaping who gets diagnosed, believed, or protected.

Oh this is so amazing. She's gonna win against Hick.
I’m running for the U.S. Senate so the people who built Colorado can take back control of our healthcare, our homes, and our futures.
Working people built Colorado, we deserve a government that finally works for us.

If Sens. Hickenlooper and Bennet aren't calling for a change in Senate leadership, their no votes are hollow showmanship.

Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

The 8 Dems who voted against ACA are embracing eugenics.

This decision will disproportionately harm disabled people.

Many Disabled people have pre existing conditions & won’t be able to afford insurance.

Many live in legislated poverty.

Guess we aren’t dying fast enough for them

look I know being an engaged citizen IS the work of democracy but it is also the work of elected officials not to create situations where everyone has to be mobilized all the time to prevent them from allowing some kind of Dickensian horror on a Sunday night while you're in between loads of laundry

Yo - so unfortunately in this climate trad publishing doesn’t want us! If we write a Daily Tism book & start our own little publisher to put it out, say in time for next Christmas, who’d buy and read the living shit out of it?

Downloaded music from Napster will Metallica sue me
Boomers have "walking uphill to school" and GenX-ers have "drinking from the hose." What do we Millennials have? The obvious answer seems to be "waiting 20 minutes to download a picture of Jeri Ryan in a bikini" but there is also the wildcard: "washing our hands with dishwashing liquid."

Thoughts?
