My brother (who is an excellent cook) was making a stuffing recipe last night that called for cutting toasted bread into half-centimeter cubes, and I can't get over what an unhinged direction that is. HALF A CENTIMETER. AT THAT POINT YOU MIGHT AS WELL USE PANKO BREADCRUMBS.

I just want to point out that there is a lane for someone to start a small media company whose express mission statement is "nothing we put on the internet was made by AI" & every time a category gets overrun like this, they branch out

So a while back I was commissioned to do short bios of various rock stars, and they were just about universally total psychopaths, with the huge exception of Freddie Mercury. A lovely man who did good by his wife, his lovers, and his cats.
Today (24 November) marks the passing of Freddie Mercury, lead vocalist and pianist of the rock band Queen. He remains regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music.
