Asked to leave the No Kings Protest because I showed up in a 1999 Sacramento Jason Williams jersey.

I’ve heard so much about Welcomefest, a conference with fewer non-journalist attendees than one of our Seattle DSA general meetings

Who’s “the left” you’re describing here, exactly? In every leftist space I’m in, it’s absolutely on sight for that little Nazi fuck

i met someone who's a staff organizer at another union who said they don't have OC meetings till they have 40% support, so that the secret doesn't get out. that is insane to me

UNION NERD SHIT:

when you're on a new organizing campaign, at what point does an OC of workers meet up about organizing the store? i ask because i've always organized where the OC starts with literally two people and grows from there

Finnish IWW workers in the 1920s in Aberdeen WA: confirmed hoopers
The Uusi Halli provided radical Finnish workers with a large meeting hall, library, theater, gymnasium, and offices to conduct Wobbly busi-ness. As with many other Finnish American radical movements, Grays Harbor's Finnish iww culture centered on the production, performance, and viewing of workers' theater. Those Finns who staged the plays came from working-class backgrounds and thus crafted dramatic shows of, by, and for Finnish workers themselves. 2 Finnish American radical Reino Nikolai Hannula spoke to the significance of workers' theater to Finnish immigrant leftist movements: "Show business was the first item on the agenda in the Finn hall. The class struggle, basketball, and other matters had to wait in the wings of all Finn halls— the iww hall, the socialist hall, and the communist hall— until the drama society was done.'
