(I wonder how many hit the trifecta?)
It’s wrong to lump all top Trump people in one category. There are differences among them. But they do seem to fall into three (sometimes overlapping) categories:

• Ordinary criminals (grift and corruption).

• Sex criminals.

• War criminals.

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

May I suggest that Arcadia is the greatest play written in the English language in the last 150 years or so at least?

Tom Stoppard, R.I.P. As great as they come. I always keep 'Arcadia' an arm's reach away from my desk. What a thrill it was—it will always be—to see a really great production of one of his shows.

Since when do Americans “do business “with their government in this fashion?
How did the @nytimes.com editors let this sentence appear?

"Critics have likened Mr. Trump’s approach to extortion, while others have chalked it up as a cost of doing business with this administration."

"Every year, I hear a chorus of bitching and moaning about the turkey’s supposed faults. It’s too big to cook. It’s too dry. It takes too much time. Chicken is better. (Chicken!)"

It’s about the past.

It’s about being thankful for socialism and post-scarcity.

It’s about a meeting of two different cultures over drinks and food.

Star Trek: First Contact is a Thanksgiving movie.
Half-watching/half-listening to 'Star Trek: First Contact' as I pre-cook Thanksgiving food, and I'm glad to be reminded of what a fun romp it is, with an excellent screenplay. (That is, aside from a truly egregious title drop: "So you're astronauts? On some kind of ... star trek." Ugggggh.)

I am a little tired of being yelled at for this but apparently not tired about: heroin addiction is not RFK’s problem. He’s a sociopath. Most addicts aren’t. Honestly, walk into an NA meeting, grab the first person with a few years to be head of HHS and they’d probably do a better job than Bobby.
This is what happens when you put a privileged, 14 year heroin addict in charge of health. Duh
