From the earliest basic PC graphic tools onward i always thought "neato! Now i can draw a perfect ellipsis" and similar but i never thought it would make me an artist or a graphic designer. It is fun to be able to make cool doodles but talentless guys prompting AI videos are just making doodles

I hope that this doesn't just become about "Nuzzi is bad" but fosters a wider recognition that our culture of political journalism that didn't just tolerate her, but promoted and celebrated her even after the allegations were known, is rotten to the core and has been for a long time.
this was bad before, but these are the most troubling and serious allegations you can make about a journalist. if they’re true, i genuinely can’t think of a worse scandal in the history of political journalism. devastating to our industry, to public trust as a whole, and to everyone in its orbit

something which doesn't get enough attention: as anyone who deals with elderly people knows, *any* upgrade - software or forced hardware - is like a nuclear bomb on their existence and is enraging
yah even 'better camera' which was the selling point for higher price/newer models has plateaued. at some point my decision will be 'replace battery or replace phone' but i won't actually need a hardware improvement
