So I have a real issue with all the appeals to "oppose division" and "come together." While I get the idea, I struggle with how content free they are. Together for what? What's your vision of a better society? Is it actually compatible with mine just because you also hate Nigel Farage?

We were told by the PM and ministers the SC had brought “clarity” and that facilities must now be provided on basis of “biological sex”.
If that’s true why have 2 tribunals in 1 week found the opposite?

I keep thinking of Beth Upton today, who won against an absolutely foul, racist bigot, and should be having the best day, but is still being monstered by our entire media, for the crime of merely existing as her authentic self and doing a job in the NHS that helps people, all day every day.
#C4News went above & beyond, reporting:
"a nurse has won a harassment claim against Dr Beth Upton."
No she didn't. NHS FIFE harassed her, not Upton.
This is almost defamatory, & they mentioned none of the dismissed parts or the implications for trans women in SS spaces. I complained to Ofcom.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

If nothing else it's striking how non-atheists will bring up the New Atheists as a slam dunk while ignoring all the horrors religious leaders are doing right now.
