Yeah, this. Labour & Tory supporters have their pick of who to think is the Real Soul of the Movement, but in a time of monsters sometimes you simply gotta get behind the guy who’s most likely to send some profiteers to prison.
Amongst the many myths the Sensibles need to keep recycling about the left is that of hero worship. Ofc there is some of that & there will always be some groupies around anyone in the public eye but in general the left is far more motivated by policy than personality

So I have a real issue with all the appeals to "oppose division" and "come together." While I get the idea, I struggle with how content free they are. Together for what? What's your vision of a better society? Is it actually compatible with mine just because you also hate Nigel Farage?
