What about the ICE BUCKET, Chuck
NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.
Zero Chucks Left to Give
Chuck Schumer now sees a path back to the majority. Can he manage his way through it?

Yes I'm aware but as you say, "it amounts to the same": NO SINGING

They are so gross!! People should not be watched by a camera all day!! this is entirely inhumane!!!

wow I hate them so much.
my brother is an amazon driver atm and NOT TO DEFEND AMAZON LOL but it's because the cameras are monitoring for talking on the phone, not singing. it amounts to the same but it's not a specific policy or rule against singing, it's more like because AI sucks and can't tell the difference haha
This is the fucking limit. I had no idea that Amazon drivers AREN'T ALLOWED TO SING

Again, I’m going to keep banging the drum that the fact we are threatening the territorial sovereignty of our closest allies is not only a gross violation of our UN & NATO treaty obligations & poses a massive threat to national security & world order but also should immediately end this presidency.
I spoke to the Secretary-General of NATO, Emmanuel Macron, Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Giorgia Meloni.

Together we stand firm in our commitment to uphold the sovereignty of Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark.

I love it SO MUCH I have one (1) micro-spoiler for you:

it's perfect all the way through

didn't even know there'd been a retread
Watching the original, UK version of “Life on Mars” and it’s fantastic. I actually liked the US adaptation of it but it doesn’t hold a candle to this. And I’m just four eps in so don’t spoiler anything even if the show is 20 years old lol

there weren't any legs
At what point does losing 77 billion dollars impact a business? The global box office for all movies, put together, in total, all movies everywhere in 2025 was 33.5 billion dollars. He lost more than double that on “legs”
The division has lost over $77 billion since its inception in 2020.

Nothing says strength like having to tell people how super strong you are.
Bessent on Greenland: "Peace through strength. Make it part of the US and there will not be a conflict because the US right now, we're the hottest country in the world, we're the strongest country in the world. Europeans project weakness. The US projects strength."

NOEM IS LYING. I have seen people get taken! It was the same each time: armed men racing out of a blacked-out SUV, seizing a screaming or fleeing pedestrian, and pulling them into the car without any attempt to even learn their identity. Always a person alone on the street. Always a person of color.

If only US Democratic Party leaders had this strong impression of the failure of 1930s appeasement
I think the White House badly underestimates the strength of the pan-European folk memory of 1930s appeasement, and how deep it still cuts. I suppose this is what happens when you learn in school that WW2 started in 1941 in Hawaii.

If the true goal is to destroy Western power, culture, politics, and alliances, these moves make all the sense in the world

Viewed through this prism, Trump's every move has been 100% consistent since July 2016

European governments are also using #Palantir products. Will they be using ELITE as well? Maybe this would be a good moment for all European governments to come clean about their ties with palantir. And cut them.
“Palantir is working on a tool for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that populates a map with potential deportation targets, brings up a dossier on each person, and provides a “confidence score” on the person’s current address,”
Report: ICE Using Palantir Tool That Feeds On Medicaid Data
ICE is using a Palantir tool that uses Medicaid and other government data to stalk people for arrest. This is exactly the kind of data privacy abuse that EFF has been warning about.

I'm not sure the author of this piece ever worked a service job before, because getting the authority to say "get the fuck out right now" to a visitor that's annoying the shit out of people is one of the rare joys of a service job
The general theme of this commentary is "stop asking MN companies to ban ICE from their properties." The argument is that enforcing the ban would fall to individual low-paid employees, who would be placed in danger.
