A lot of people wonder how companies like IBM, Ford, Coca Cola, and General Electric got away with supporting Nazi Germany in their genocidal war.

This is how. Companies have always taken profits, wherever it comes from, no matter what atrocities they are enabling. Fascism is built on corporations.

Thank you for holding firm on this and not caving. The fact they keep claiming the minority party is at fault for a shutdown shows how bad they are at governance. I have Bipartisan feels like a fantasy when reality shows them propping up their Mad Toddler-King. Please. Don't. Give in. Not an inch.

The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and
social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing
their jobs. The Departrnent of Justice will continue engaging tech
companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent
violence against federal law enforcernent.

ProPublica obtained records from the Department of Agriculture that detail the 94 million pounds of food, down to the number of eggs, that never reached food banks because of the #Trump administration’s cuts to The Emergency Food Assistance Program.

My latest video for @propublica.org.

Today’s a good day to get some knitting patterns and begin working on holiday gifts! Or get a kit that includes the pattern, yarn, stuffing, wool roving, and T-pins

a knitted dissected white lab rat made from fuzzy white mohair yarn. It’s displayed in a wooden frame pinned to a cork background with T-pins. Arranged in front of the frame are round metal tins. One is filled with polyfil stuffing, one is filled with the colorful wool roving used to make the rat’s innards. There’s also a ball of the white mohair yarn and a small hank of pink yarn that makes up the tail and ears a tin of wool roving, a hank of froggy green yarn, and some T-pins lying on a blue cutting mat gridded with white measurement lines a display much like the rat photo, but this one has a small grey alien (the really traditional kind with the egg shaped head and large black almond eyes. It is pinned into an aluminum dissection tray lined with black wax. Its organs are knitted, not needle felted, so the tin with the organ supplies features 7 tiny balls of yarn to knit the innards with

It gives it a lot more meaning too, since he's throwing out digs at Polonius and Claudius, two old men whose lives have been full of whips and scorns of life, proud man's contumely, he's getting them to think about death and what comes after, preying on their insecurities as their lives are closing

THANK you! And when he gets off track the ghost SHOWS BACK UP to remind him IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU BUDDY

Circular needles. I rarely if ever use straight ones anymore, hang on to the old ones largely out of hoarding habit. Stitch markers (removable ones), point protectors, if you're like me SEVERAL gauge/needle rulers. Good needles for weaving in ends. Cable needles. Scissors. And MANY stitch counters!

Joe Biden and Netanyahu were offered same Gaza deal a year ago, says negotiator

But the Israelis had no intention of striking any agreement before a change of administration in Washington.

They wanted to give The Felon the credit.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

It should not be possible for him to cause the disruption he has.

We should not build a government, a society, so fragile that having a power-mad malignant narcissist white supremacist at the helm can break it.

I hope - not with much conviction that it'll happen, but I still hope - that people will understand that Trump, a man with whom I would not trust a loaded baked potato much less a loaded gun, was handed a system ready to be 'abused.'

And that what we should design after him is something different.

Hamlet's to be or not to be is NOT a sincere soliloquy, but a deliberate ploy to convince the King and Polonius that he might kill himself so they don't take action. "Death, the undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveller returns" is complete bullshit, he's doing revenge FOR A GHOST HE SAW

This one. This one always kills me. Any worker in retail gets full on assailed regularly by people who walk in with the first half of this phrase carved in stone to justify any behavior.
