Calling a sexual predator “cancelled” is certainly a choice that implies he was a victim of cultural zeitgeist instead of say a criminal who retaliated against any woman who didn’t want to see his dick? Has using the word “cancelled” gone too far?

Teaching religious fundamentalists in English 101/102 was so difficult because first you had to get past the fact that they cited their racist and sexist grandpa as an expert on everything. They have so integrated their faith and belief as fact that it’s impossible to get them to do basic research.

Hello is it okay for me to gripe about how the Murder, She Wrote box set does NOT come with the Magnum half of this two-part episode and it’s been driving me insane for a decade?
We act like the “Murder, She Wrote” and “Magnum, P.I.” crossover wasn’t the apex of western culture.

I feel like the fractures we are seeing in the MAGA coalition have some people hoping the status quo will simply make a roaring comeback, and judicial consequences will simply engulf all of the bad guys. There's really no precedent that supports that expectation.

We now know that the man who shot the National Guard troops worked with the CIA for years in Afghanistan in a covert unit that was accused of the widespread killing of civilians. This raises so many questions about why this guy travelled from Washington State all the way to DC to shoot soldiers
