It does suck that so much of the Mariners coverage is more about how their opponents are fucking up and failing rather than highlighting how Mariners players and coaches are excelling. We aren’t here simply because other teams can’t stop stepping on their own dicks.

Since this is getting some traction, I should add that the Blue Jays are also a good team. But they have clear flaws that can be exploited while the Mariners have fewer. And also, the Mariners deserve credit for getting the Jays away from the things that made them so good this year.

This theory can be broken down into two components:

1) The Seattle Mariners are a good team

2) The New York Yankees were not a good team.

The Jays game ops team need to learn how to let some moments breathe. It’s just relentless noise.

Exhorting people to ‘get on your feet’ when there’s a two strike count but the team is down 10-3 isn’t it.

AI images/movies are incredibly fascist-coded because one of the goals of fascist propaganda is to make it hard to distinguish fact from fiction. If Sora makes you doubt what you’re seeing with your own eyes, which is kinda the least bad outcome, it’s a huge victory for the MAGAs of the world.

There's no possible useful use case for this. They're picturing making wholesome JibJabs for grandma, but the reality out of the gate is just going to be "high school bullies making realistic deepfakes of the kids they don't like doing embarrassing/depraved/illegal things"
