The Daily Telegraph hates Britain with nearly the same passion with which Reform hates Britain
Ceding all forms of autonomy to Trump is now a well-established position within Britain's media and among British media owners.

What I continue to remain shocked by, possibly unduly, is how hard capitalism punished ordinary workers for cutting corners and doing the bare minimum for decades, and now it's totally pivoted to telling us cheating is cool.
Last night I met a guy who said everyone in his office uses ChatGPT "because you just type in two lines and it generates a whole email for you!"

And I *very correctly* replied that "no one wants that 'whole email' they just want the two lines - and they all hate you"

Trump is effectively imposing sanctions on Denmark for deploying troops *in its own territory*. Imagine if China sanctioned the US for deploying troops to Alaska. What conclusion would we draw then?
Trump slaps allies with Greenland tariffs. From Feb 1, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, UK, Netherlands, and Finland face 10% on all exports. June 1, it jumps to 25%.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

This isn't satire. This is a real headline published in the UK.

If you don’t pay attention to UK politics, “what is their policy on civil servants wearing fetish clothing in the workplace” sounds absurd because noone wears gimp masks to their office job.

If you do, you immediately know she wants a policy prohibiting trans women from wearing skirts or dresses.
Hello, Baroness. Are you keeping busy?

Some of my 📚 have included 50+ photos. I've spent *entire summers* tracking down rights holders + handling clearances. Every copyrighted graphic in 100+ articles and chapters: all researched, cleared, and, in most cases, *paid for*. That's a ton of time, expertise, effort, and (unrecouped) 💰.
“I just don’t know how you go around, asking everyone first. I just don’t see how that would work.”

You know it could also be their being owned by Sony. Or the fact that all they make is sequels and have only worked on a total of two franchises since 2005 and four franchises since 1994.

Anyway, I say with all due respect (none, he is due no respect), fuck this guy.
I say this with utmost respect, but Taylor is an absolute tool for saying this privately or publicly.
I can say on good authority that it takes 7 to 10 years to develop game development skills to “good enough” to produce commercial game content. 7-10 years plus the cost of a university education.

WHAT
'Escalate,' as in "tensions escalate," comes from the word 'escalator.'

It first appeared in print in 1944.

'Escalator' originated as a trademarked term for the Otis Elevator Company's moving staircase and was demonstrated at the Paris Exposition in 1900.
