yes but also it is very funny that all of the “Gen Z is going retro” articles are about them buying DVDs and CDs and playing Nintendo 3DS games because when they wrote the same articles about us it was LPs and GameBoy
given how much of this I have seen in the last two weeks, I would say that I’m holding my breath waiting for the NHL media and promo people to see the vision but it’s the NHL so they absolutely never will.
The Heated Rivalry content in my instagram feed has given way to just regular hockey content so I guess I like hockey now!

I love history. Especially niche histories of our communities and trailblazers in them. If we don’t memorialize their/our stories and get them on record it is so easy for incredible fascinating people to get lost to the mists of time and memory. Work like this is so important.

I love history. Especially niche histories of our communities and trailblazers in them. If we don’t memorialize their/our stories and get them on record it is so easy for incredible fascinating people to get lost to the mists of time and memory. Work like this is so important.

ok I know this is tangential to the original post but that story in the Christian Bible actively misrepresents Jewish religious law and beliefs which explicitly permit breaking religious commandments for the purpose of saving a life. פיקוח נפש is a critical halachic principle
The end of that story in the Bible is Jesus telling the Pharisees to go learn what it means for the Lord to say “I desire mercy and not sacrifice.”
Quite the shift from "I think if you do something bad you should die" immediately to "as they say in the Bible..."
