(Nothing wrong with showtunes per se, he just only seems to like that and possibly wrestling entrance music. The common factor, I suppose, is audience recognition. So it's more 'stuff he knows people respond to' than actually liking it himself.)

His only hobby is cheating at golf. The only music he likes is showtunes. He doesn't drink and he eats bad food, badly cooked. He's barely literate, so he doesn't read. He watches Fox News all day. It must be such a miserable existence.

In fact, I suspect the idea never even occured to him. It's a free pet. You get all the good stuff of having a dog with no responsibility. It makes you look relatable, it gives you something to talk about in softball interviews, it's win-win. But even strategically, he can't muster enough empathy.

I always think that, as POTUS, you can basically have a dog for free. There's no downside. Where you or I would have to feed and walk and clean up after a dog we owned, POTUS doesn't have to do any of that if he doesn't want to. It's just for optics. An easy win. And Trump couldn't even do that.

Fyi I think there was a bit of controversy about it in the community a while ago because there weren't any Japanese people involved in it and it was felt to be a bit of a Western pastiche of the style. I don't know how accurate or fair that was though.

Assuming that truth is essentially discursive in the sense that finding it requires a procedure to follow through and communicating it requires a explanatory and justificatory context, LLMs are by their very nature incapable of generating true results, even if they happen to be factually correct.
