One reason video games need to reject AI is the risk of losing the joy of human touch in small art details. My favorite example is the fake video games from the Toy Story level in Kingdom Hearts 3, designed by real video game artists. You can tell they had fun making these.

Instead of searching books/Google you generate an example. I think the misunderstanding is that people think
'develop' means 'paint'

i believe people when they say linux has gotten better in the last few years. what i'm skeptical of is that linux Guys have improved. i will not use an OS where i'm at high risk of someone calling me stupid for not liking some aspect of the experience. i must be allowed to hate the computer

This is why executives need to keep their noses out of the creative process. Every example I've seen of an artist who worked/currently works for Larian speaking on this subject seems to hate the switch to using AI. Let the people who actually make the game do their job and keep your hands out of it.
