When I was a judicial law clerk in Montana, Pres Bush flew into the Billings airport for a rally.

I wanted to see Air Force One and asked the judge I clerked for if I could go. He said no, that it wouldn’t be appropriate.

And I was just a clerk. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/10/u...

People keep wondering why they're going after Venezuela. It's because they want to do regime change and control its oil, then use a big tract of land there to keep a tax free "network state" that looks like Dubai but operates like Rhodesia. They are saying this out loud! Believe them!

Not popular to say but the amount of respect I lost for American voters in 2024 has dampened any optimism I could've had towards Dem swing elections in 2025 and likely next year. Hard to get excited when a lot of this terror couldve been avoided if Americans took themselves seriously.

It's crazy that the US has the nearly the same rate of road traffic deaths per 100,000 people as India, Brazil and China. It does worse than Indonesia and Mexico. Wow!

Democrats—if they take back the House—already needed to launch an investigation into Bove’s egregious criminal conduct on Trump’s behalf before his confirmation to the 3rd Circuit. But they should also look into his brazen partisanship, which obviously violates the judicial Code of Conduct.

Joe Biden regularly and publicly attended Mass. He visibly embraced Catholic religiosity more than JFK ever did. As VP too.

My parents are like this: they just can’t conceive of Biden, whose favorite hymn is my grandma’s favorite hymn, as also a Catholic. It all goes in a memory black hole.
Reactionaries are such suckers for this shit. Trump is King Herod, full stop. He makes a pretense of religosity for the sake of legitimacy. But he does not give a single shit about anything but his own power. If American Christianity was a threat to him, he would murder every boy under the age of 3.
