Sucks the radius is shrunk 75% for no reason cause its pop is less than 35k but Burlingame will gain 5k residents easily

The stations along 580 wouldnt be pleasant since they'd be elevated above a highway median, but the highway provides a good right-of-way so I dont have a choice.

I would consolidate High and Laurel into 1 stop, they're way too close, but cant figure it out just yet. Anyways running now and lets see the results.

Starts in a cut-and-cover subway at Eastmont Mall (yellow), goes elevated after Mills along 580 (green). Then goes into Grand Lake subway cut & cover (red). Deep bore station at 19th for SF-bound BART transfer. On San Pablo its elevated and then cut-and-cover at University Av.

My Subway Builder proposal for a 6-car intra-East Bay BART automated metro line (or AC Transit Metro). A San Pablo Ave and MacArthur/580 line. I built the normal BART line from 19th Street to Civic Center into SF so i expect many transfers.

Reality is CCC probably wont be included till next decade when either Amtrak or eBART extension is done.
idothethinking.bsky.social
? Contra Costa County is exempt from SB 79 because its short one rail station. CCC will be in Sb 79 some day but not until either Hercules Amtrak or the Oakley extension is finished.

WW2 takes should be banned from social media. This is the most studied war in history and people have nothing to add to it. Anyone who doesnt have a PhD or Masters in the subject discussing WW2 online is 99% of the time saying something false.

The US never fought to end fascism anywhere. They joined the war because Japan forced their hand, and they saw a great way to make money. After the USSR pretty much had pushed Germany out of eastern Europe and they knew the nazis were going to lose, they jumped in.

All right, y'all, help me out. This is a bidet, right? (It's in my airbnb.) So, the idea is, you poop in the toilet and then...crab walk a few feet to your left, with your pants down? And stick your butt down in this thing? There's no seat, as such, so you're just...hovering your butt down into it?

Even if Marin and Sonoma were included in SB 79 does SMART run 44 trains per day?
idothethinking.bsky.social
Nah it would fail. Doesnt have enough trains to qualify
idothethinking.bsky.social
Its going to be a huge deal in the Peninsula.

SB79 is going to hit like a nuclear bomb.
Downtown Burlingame, one of the most desirable places to live in the entire country, possibly the entire world

Future counties can enter sb79 if they have 16 rail stops. Contra costa has 15
idothethinking.bsky.social
Yes of course. But the worst job housing balances are SF San Mateo and Santa Clara so it sucks but its worth it over no sb 79
idothethinking.bsky.social
Im stuck on this stage of Subway Builders. Once you buy your train cars, how do you add them into service? pressing the frequency button doesnt seem to add train cars I've bought.

What a fucking moron.

For years, San Franciscans considered him the rare big-hearted billionaire. But days before his Dreamforce conference begins, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said he would support President Trump sending the National Guard to SF and that Trump is doing “a great job.”

SB 79 requires counties to have 16 or more rail stations. It was originally 15 but I got a feeling it was bumped to 16 to exclude CCC which has exactly 15 rail stops. SB 79 allows future counties to be included if they get 16 rail stops.

If there's one takeaway from the SB79 victory, it's this: never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed [posters] can change the world.
