For SCIENCE
"A new study has found that eating 50g or more of high-fat cheese a day correlates with a lower risk of developing dementia. That means all cheeses with more than 20 percent fat content, including brie, gouda, cheddar, parmesan, gruyere, and mozzarella." www.sciencealert.com/cheese-linke...

An old Swedish idiom for someone who isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer is hjulet snurrar men hamstern är död. It means “the wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead.”

* this is, of course, also the title of one of my books (and did I mention it makes the PERFECT last-minute Christmas gift?)

Webster is fired from the library.

Depressed on Christmas Eve, he climbs the town bridge.

Merriam arrives & shows him what the world would have been like without him.

His faith restored, he gets off the bridge and kisses her.

- "A Merriam Little Christmas 3: Unabridged Ed."
Merriam quits the high-stakes world of lexicography to teach at a college in Springfield, MA…where Webster just became the head librarian.

She shows him that ‘love’ isn’t that hard to find…if you know where to look it up.

“A Merriam Little Christmas 2: Collegiate Edition.”
“Have Yourself A Merriam Little Christmas”

Merriam, a career-oriented lexicographer from the city, returns to her small town for the holidays and meets Webster, a ruggedly handsome librarian, who shows her the true DEFINITION of Christmas.

If any journalist wants to talk to a trans man with a PhD in Human Genomics who was trained in labs that studied the evolution of sex, I'm right here

Or just keep platforming Republicans who have a 5th grade understanding of biology so they get more trans people killed, sure 🤷🏻‍♂️

If I overlay "Let Them Eat Cake" and "Let Them Fight" does that give me "The Hunger Games" on my Bingo card for 2025?
And the survivors get to eat for a year.

Raise your hand if you have a story from the before (ACA) times.

Carrier would not cover my friend's claims because she had a pre-existing condition prior to enrolling.

The claim? Pregnancy and childbirth.

The condition? 8 weeks pregnant prior to enrolling.

This was not uncommon.
