what goes through my head every time:

- someone needs it more
- it's not /that/ bad
- i'll survive either way
- it doesn't matter
- i'm using resources others need
- what makes /me/ worthy, and others not

the self sabotage we inflict upon ourselves when needing aid of any sort is so very real
I never ask for help I don't need & by the time I ask for help I've usually spend days in a horrible place & grit my teeth to ask for help.

Absolutely correct.
I've been trying to think of how to say this, but I think it's more important than ever that we do not let our disdain for Israel's genocide stop us from protecting Jewish people in our home countries.
We have to keep a clear view of what's what.

I’ll never forget the little wooden splint this man made to try help Mario.

All the locals knew who best Mario up. A man high on meth.

Look at him now in England. Thankfully he has no mental scars ❤️

It has always been evident to me that Apple is an international criminal organisation, owned, operated, and staffed by criminals. You were lucky to use them for 25 years before they brought the hammer down. I'm sorry this happened to you. The only solution is to boycott them into bankruptcy.

Why do we need a “technology bill of rights”? Because under capitalism will own nothing and nobody will care if you’re happy or not.

If Apple can remotely disable and delete your entire digital history, do you truly own anything?

What conservatives mean when they say they are "under attack for their views" is that they are being accurately understood as the sort of people who hold the sort of views conservatives hold, and that makes them afraid they will be treated the way conservatives treat those whose views they scorn.
The fact is no presenter has ever had to leave the BBC for expressing conservative views, or even explicitly endorsing a right-wing party.

He escaped to the US - then ICE detained him.

Microsoft unter Eid „Daten nicht sicher“ 👇🏾
This is all so annoying.

Only until very recently, Canada had rules about where data could be stored and that it HAD to be on Canadian soil.

Like, if you were a contractor with the government, you couldn't use OneDrive.

Changing these expectations endangers all of us.

NPR is sucking up to the right, who are determined to snuff them out. The BBC in Britain and the CBC in Canada are following the same suicidal path. Why?
The post gives 2/3 of the space to the critics but more importantly omits * why* the churches are doing this - Jesus being born under occupation and becoming a refugee
