In the few African airports I’ve been in, many if not most of the passengers are white, but it took me a while to clock that most white couples and families that seemed to be traveling with one Black friend were in fact traveling with a private guide/bodyguard

This happened to me at Medill. Assigned a straight forward assignment: 800 word story, must be reported in a place. Student did NOT go to said place & wrote 100 words. I told them to do it again. They turned in 100 words again, so I failed the assignment. Had to defend this decision FOR YEARS.
So the student complained about a teacher who was too hard and the University of Oklahoma sides with the student?
