Yeah, 80 was a rock-bottom price, tbh.

I haven't bought a blouse in years, and that's what I'd be looking for. Pretty sure the last ones I bought were around $60 and quality has gone down (meaning good ones are even more expensive now) since. Not to mention the fat tax I'd also be paying.

It seems to be improving, but I'm pretty sure my alignment is fucked up from foot to neck.

Right now, it's mostly my ankle and shoulder, but it all cascades!

And this is a PROBLEM!

If you don't know how your local governance system works (from the Roberts Rules to the Westminster Parliamentary Procedures etc etc etc), you will never be able to effectively use those instruments to step in and stop authoritarian actions.

I think about this a lot in relation to Alberta politics because ... similar situation with a similarly authoritarian wacko in charge...

And I think my conclusion is that most elected representatives are extremely ignorant of the actual workings of their local democracy and thus can't use them.

Ultimately, the death of US manufacturing is about this attitude. It's easy to say "buy american or stfu" because virtue signaling is free. But it's hard to actually sustain a business because many Americans simply don't want to pay what it costs to produce things ethically in this country

Someone on Twitter replies to me: "meh. buy american or stfu."

Two hours later, in a separate thread, the write: "$30 for a single button-up is ridiculous unless it is decent quality silk."

This is exactly why I say wearing a mask is an act of resistance.

They want us sick.

They want us weak.

They want many of us dead.

Get your vaccines if able, but adding a high quality respirator like an N95 can prevent many airborne contagions.

Dozens of them were chirping when I walked through this morning but I couldn't see a single one

Walking back to my room this evening, the afternoon sun was a great help in spotting one 😄

ICE in Chicago detained two people (that we know of) for filming them today, a cyclist and a neighborhood rapid responder. This in addition to tear gassing another neighborhood and brandishing weapons at rapid response—both things that have also already been going on for weeks.

something is off with my body today and the whole right side of me is achy because of it. (it's not a stroke)

Not sure if I've done something wrong with my posture (probably) or if this is also aggravated air pressure change weirdness (also probably).
