I don't know.
She's always been a grifter.
Shifting the grift is extremely easy when you know you're a grifter.

Another example of the disability visibility advocacy Alice Wong worked on: she was a vocal supporter of Palestinians and refugees, because Palestinians' and refugees' rights are also disability rights.

She co-organized the ongoing important Crips for eSims campaign

Crips for eSims for Gaza
Crips for eSims for Gaza is a collaboration between Jane Shi, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, and Alice Wong.

Alice Wong did incredible work.

She connected and built a community of disabled people that celebrated each other, embraced our differences, and amplified marginalized voices.

Please learn about her and the work that must continue.

We are here.
We make up 25% of the population.

Being disabled is part of life and an eventuality for many.
Being disabled is not a political ideology.
Being disabled cannot be handwaved away and forgotten.

We cannot let this happen to Alice's work (which was all about making disabled people heard)

It's a shame the street light isn't a light!

It looks great.

They'll have too much mold by then, if sea level rise continues apace.

Strong mommy roles, too.
No decision power, but managing all the complaints and emotions.

Alice Wong. i could literally teach an entire semester of philosophy of technology & disability through a lens of just her. You should all go spend time with her work. Her essays, podcasts, TV appearances, books, all of it; it is all so good.

Good night Alice. Rest in power, pending justice & peace

Alice was a friend, a mentor, and a guide to so many in the disability community, and especially in the realms of disability and technology and disabled-led design.

This one hurts bad, but some of her last words were "Don't let the bastards grind you down. I love you all."

Gonna try to hold that.
