I am stunned by the adulation being heaped on President Trump for securing a ceasefire now in Israel’s genocide against Gaza.
This is the same man who in February of this year promoted his Riviera of the Middle East model and forced displacement of Palestinians.

In 1936 the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Carl von Ossietzky, a German pacifist convicted of high treason for exposing German re-armament. At the time of the award he was in a concentration camp. As a result Hitler banned any German from accepting a Nobel Prize and created his own German prize.

And BTW the "on board" (aka consent) approach shd also apply to Indigenous nations along any possible pipeline & terminus/tanker route.

1st attempt: patch the leak. 4 patches! no success
2nd acquire new tubes.
3rd re-acquire tubes with a valve that fits!
4th effect repair
5th success
Biggest problem? trying to jam the tire back into the rim!

While Northback has promised a new Grassy Mtn mine application it has also continued to try to revive its original proposal in the courts.
The SCC put an end to its latest revival efforts last week.
Good news.

This Alberta government will struggle to resolve this strike and to negotiate with teachers because teachers hold entirely different values than the government: kindness, inclusion, and integrity.
