It was a great morning in the office at Haven House Children's Hospice today as we met Father Christmas and he was sharing with us that he plans on running in the "Santa in the City" race on the 3rd December: www.justgiving.com/page/paul-fr...

Two years and two days ago, a woman delivered some chili to her new neighbors. Everyone was very happy and normal and there were no lasting effects.

To be clear, if you think that 'objecting to someone who looks at this mural and goes "can't see the problem" is some kind of smear, congratulations, you are a racist!

Oh no!
This is an outrage!!!

How dare the Home Office use taxpayers money to prevent crime from happening!

@alistaircoleman.bsky.social How do I let your former colleagues know about a typo? They've run a Verify piece on a tanker which was damaged at Izmail port but they appear to have got the name wrong. Should be Orinda (IMO number 9240122).

It's 2030: the UK is rejoining the EU because Le Pen is president of France and there's an AfD chancellor in Germany.

Don't worry gang, we've seen this before in Germany and the left/liberal bloc will just coalesce and keep the far-right out of power in a PR system.
Germany, GMS poll:

AfD-ESN: 26% (+1)
CDU/CSU-EPP: 25% (-1)
SPD-S&D: 14% (-1)
GRÜNE-G/EFA: 12% (+1)
LINKE-LEFT: 11% (+1)
FDP-RE: 3%
BSW-NI: 3%

+/- vs. 24-29 September 2025

Fieldwork: 11-17 November 2025
Sample size: 1020

For me the biggest question is why they can't destroy the evidence. What's preventing them from doing that?
man, what the fuck is in these files that would a) be worse than anything we have ever learned about him, b) make him willing to risk a maga civil war over it, and c) have him desperately calling half of the republicans in the house and begging them to vote against their release

That don't impress me much.
Sure you've got the sled, but have you got the mush?
Now don't get me wrong.
I think you're all right.
But that won't keep me warm in the long, cold lonely nights.
never forget when Shania Twain did the Grey Cup halftime show and was transported to the stage by a pack of sled dogs

Ringo is a Mensch
Lennon never said Ringo 'wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles.' Jasper Carrott did, & he apparently stole it from somewhere else. Ringo was always closest to George but Lennon's lavish praise for Ringo from 1980 is pretty much how he felt all along. Note Lennon's respect for him in Get Back.

They spun off the computing division and eventually sold it to a conglomerate that was taken over by.. Fujitsu

So why were post office subpostmasters unjustly prosecuted for theft? Because someone a half century before needed to know how many cakes they had
