Teachers and doctors were never going to be replaced by AI. They were simply going to be reserved for the people who are rich enough to be worthy enough to be taught by actual humans.
Poor people are subhuman and so they deserve subhuman education and healthcare.

Highly recommend this book
A small thing but for anyone with small children trying to explain what’s going on I would highly recommend the book “Noodlephant.” A fantastic parable about the power of community defense and mutual aid to combat fascism and racism, and the inherent violence of policing

I do think fascism is a suicide mission. No openly fascist regime has been happy or healthy or sustainable.

I've been noticing that "kind of inherited racism from open source tech communities" for some time now. They're not using technology to subvert the system, more like they're using it to create safe spaces for white supremacy.
And, to be clear, BlueSky isn’t immune to this shit. BlueSky has similar issues, but doesn’t struggle with the kind of inherited racism from open source tech communities. It’s got its own problems.
