The last general strike in Minneapolis was in 1934.
It started in May, leading to a series of small battles between strikers and police. The two sides agreed to a contract on May 25.
Employers reneged in July, and police opened fire on protesters who flooded the streets. Two died, 67 were wounded.

The important lesson for the Feds to take away from this is that if anyone interfered with their operations this afternoon, or tracked them, there's a minimum of this much still in reserve.

It is -9 degrees without windchill. I have retreated to the Skyway. But the streets are full and they keep coming. There have been larger protests but I can’t think of that’s been more hazardous to bare skin.
