Pisses me off that we’re stardust with the gift of conscious existence and having to spend our time on all this bullshit.

If a company lists a job that they know they don't intend to fill they should be getting fined more than the supposed salary of the job.
Approximately 30% of all job postings are fake, with millions of ghost jobs making a tough hiring process even worse.

Every single day.

People can roll their eyes all they want about "the power of friendship," but... in a subtle way, there's something to it. Companionship in the face of a horrifying, hostile, universe is nothing to scoff at.
You ever think about how beautiful and rare your friends are and stare into space for 10 minutes because in all the wretched terrifying universe somehow something still managed to give you the miracle of their presence?

Remember according to Republicans, 15 year old girls are actually adult women while 30-something year old men with government jobs are just wee little lads who aren't responsible for their racist and Nazi memes because boys will be boys.
Fox News displaying a poll with the first age bracket for women and men being 15-44.

Once again, 15 year olds are children.

They are kids.

They are not adults, they can’t consent to sex, and pedophilia must not be normalized.

Lorwyn First Light is out today! This is a D&D supplement that takes players to the world of Lorwyn-Shadowmoor as it is today!

It won't be a physical book like our past MTG setting supplements (booooo!), and it's a lot shorter. But still worth checking out!

I'm at home today and at my wife's gentle urging I'm watching movies, and settled on Porco Rosso because despite being a very proud pig I had yet to see it until now. It's definitely a more grounded, meditative film than the more widely-celebrated works like Princess Mononoke- (1/?)

I am surrounded by Ultimate Guard hype. Please don't forget what they've been up to the last few months: AI on original art without consent, putting HP merch online which supports JK Rowling and asking the people they sponsor to not use the word "genocide".

Please don't give this company your money

Do people WANT a tax return that will urge them to off themselves? I suspect not.

Reminder: the USDS built an awesome system to file your taxes electronically. Intuit donated a shitload of money to Trump and when he takes office that got shuttered. Now this.

We live in the dumbest timeline.
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

Wow, this must be one of the most popular things I've ever posted on here, guess I hit upon a sentiment a lot of people were feeling? So, can you do me a favour?

Advocate for the art you love. Talk about it, uplift it, introduce it to others, leave reviews. Let's not just focus on the negative.
Why am I so against generative AI in games?

Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

PS I'm aware I'm being 'that guy', but I can't help but find it disturbing that a criminal, abuser and possible child molester, is only now having his power base threatened because there's a rumour he did something 'gay'.

As a gay man that is worrying.

As I reread The Dark Tower series, I envision it having the same stylings/atmosphere of 80s fantasy movies like Labyrinth or The NeverEnding Story. That dreamy surreal energy that comes of practical sets and uncomfortably mobile animatronics.
