Figured I should make one, now that pinned posts are a thing here:

Hey, I'm James! I cover games, mostly in the RPG sphere of influence. You've probably read some of my work at RPG Site, but I've also contributed to GamesRadar, UploadVR and more in the past. I've covered events like E3, TGS + more!

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

He could state that it was Islam that moved him to protect human life and it would still not make any difference to the dominant political discourse
I'm betting that somehow Ahmed Al Ahmed's ethnicity will not become the basis for loads of sweeping conclusions about multiculturalism.

Many things will be said about this game, but what you need to know is that this was written by Chef Boyardee, the eponymous writer of Tales of Game's Studios Presents Chef Boyardee's Barkley, Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, Chapter 1 of the Hoopz Barkley SaGa.
My only big post-game-award thought is that while Clair Obscur is obviously an excellent game (cmon, don't do the sour grapes thing, please?), it still doesn't come to mind AT ALL when I think of my favourite RPGs of the year

That still goes to Look Outside, made by a tiny team in just a few months

Look Outside is not only an amazing survival RPG, it has the same artist & composer as the never-released Barkley 2.

Really cool that they recovered from that and are making games again, their stuff is just too good! TRUE DOOM-MURDER HEADS, unite!

I mentioned it earlier, but I am serious that if any outlet is considering doing a review of the Steam Frame, I am throwing my hat in the ring. I have plenty of VR experience across PSVR1, Oculust Rift S, PSVR2, and Quest 3. I have used the latter both for PCVR and standalone.

love this story. also "Epic Mickey" translates to "Giant Penis" for any Irish person. thought I should mention that.
I remember doing the deal for Epic Mickey, and Bob Iger shooting laser beams out his eyes at me in the Disney dining room. “Don’t let this video game fuck up Mickey.”

Oh well. That’s over.
BREAKING: Disney is making a $1 billion investment in OpenAI, and will allow its iconic characters to be on the company's Sora AI video generator.

Finished the Z-A DLC - very cute ending. Why did they make the final section of the story so grindy to get through?

I was worried that Pragmata wouldn't work right with kb/m but somehow they nailed the controls there, too. Awesome.

Often the stickiest intrusive thoughts or vocal stims are tied to something severely fucked up and it makes you feel like Roger Rabbit when he's hiding in the closet and they do the shave and a haircut knock.

Curious about story implications of Control: Resonance. Seeing folks upset about no Jesse but I have a few ideas what might be up where that makes sense.

Not only that it came less than a minute after focusing on a child with her mother. Steam has notably denied NSFW vns in the past because there was a child as part of the cast unrelated to any NSFW material. If you're big enough and not anime the kid can be standing 5 feet away from an orgy I guess
It’s not Larian’s fault but it chaps my ass that because they’re Larian they can have a trailer with a full on orgy in it in the middle of the Game Awards and meanwhile adult content in games everywhere else is getting cracked down on left and right.

Oh that's a good change.
Steam now warns if an item in your cart can be purchased cheaper as part of a bundle.
