I know Banana Fish wasn't the only series with an AI dub slapped onto it, but part of me wonders if the reason why they selected Banana Fish specifically as one of the test beds was because Banana Fish is early foundational gay media and thought it would have fewer viewers and no one would catch it.

As great of a game and a package as Shovel Knight is, working on the same game for years and years was probably a bad idea. In a lot of ways it helped the series to persist, but it also tied them up and didn't allow them to make new money making titles. That era of kickstarter was so naïve.
NEW: Yacht Club Games needs a hit. In recent years the maker of Shovel Knight has had to lay off staff, pause a 3D project, and delay their next game indefinitely.

We're trying to make things work the best we can, I've picked up more hours and work 6 days a week so I can cover the full rent on my own on top of all the bills and groceries besides the electricity bill, but Tyler also needs to pay car insurance and credit card bills. Any help is appreciated.

Fun fact, the sprites originally had no type of filtering in KoFXII, but many reviewers complained about how "pixellated the models look" (this is an actual quote from a review at the time), so when KoFXIII came out they added a filter to hide the hard edges and made the game look way worse.
Also, the sprites seem to always get blurred out during actual gameplay anyway. So what the fuck was the point of making painstaking amounts of super refined shading with 60 colors overall (not an exaggeration) if they were all going to get blurred together anyway?

Bro somebody gotta kick Sony's back in over these fucking controllers dog, the Dualsense feels great when it's new but has been the shittiest Sony controller ever when the battery stops holding a charge and the sticks drift like they're doing a Togue run.
As it turns out, the controller I charged for the stream is drifting like a mother fucker
My only non-drifting controller is dead and will take a while to charge

People also need to give up the idea of being objective as well. Some people try to score games by the value they think most people will assign it rather than how you feel about it, and if difficulty is gonna be something we argue over because everyone is different, then so is enjoyment.
I'm glad he's realizing that this sort of thinking just doesn't actually hold up, and its actually not paradoxical to list off a bunch of grievances but still say the game is a 10/10
