A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

Zohran Mamdani polled +40% on men under 30. So we wasted all that time on all those think pieces about how we need a Joe Rogan for the left, when what we actually needed were *policies* for the left.

Israel getting U.S. cooperation on genocide and then throwing the U.S. under the bus for responsibility would be funny if it weren’t for all the thousands of murdered innocents
Honestly it's more than a little frustrating that a prominent Israeli politician just told one of the most hawkish Israeli media publications that the United States dictates Isrseli strikes in an ongoing genocide and it is getting absolutely zero attention.
Avigdor Liberman is a member of the Knesset, by the way.

This has always been OUR genocide. Israel doesn't control us and never has. We control Israel.

Almost too nervous about this to be optimistic? But man, if they land it, it’ll be glorious.

The fact the new iPad iteration of the MangaPlus app can’t display all of Sunday’s titles is somehow both shocking and deeply unsurprising.

What I want to know is, did Shuiesha test and didn’t care, or did they not even bother to test?

Cameron Crowe tells a story about offering Fast Times at Ridgemont High to David Lynch, and I’m not saying Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me is Lynch’s version of Fast Times…

But I’m also *not* not saying that?

Ya know, when the whole Akira Yoshida thing came out, and C.B. Cebulski said he’d turned a new page, i didn’t think he meant “yeah, we’ll put that shit on Hoopla so i get royalties from library audiences who don’t know the shameful history of the title and we sure as shit won’t tell them.”

Also Wolverine should have anal musk glands.
What's an opinion about X-Men that'll get you sent to jail? Is Jean really interesting or really boring? Should Logan have stayed dead? Do you think a certain x-mens outfit is positively horrendous even though people seem to love it?

The Brood Saga is better than Dark Phoenix imo 🤷
