The entire point is that you cannot demand better until Democrats have power. The constant ultimatums are why Dems keep losing. They can’t help from the minority.

The Democrats will not be able to pull off DHS abolition or anything close to it this go around, but they have to get something with real teeth and more cameras is 100% not it. Neither are extra rules that they'll break anyway. There needs to be enforcement and consequences.

Man. It’s a shame you didn’t hold the office when the Supreme Court flat-out declared that the President was immune from prosecution for official actions: you could have taken whatever steps were necessary to stop a known and obvious threat to national security.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.
