Right-wing media is playing up the father-in-law angle so much, even sometimes throwing in "they made her son an orphan," that I really worry for her wife having a massive public custody battle. Especially when those same outlets are whipping up a transvestigation hate mob bc her wife is butch.
Seeing people centering Renee’s late husband’s *father* and his narrative that devalues her final political actions more than her gender nonconforming wife who was THERE working together with Renee to document ICE makes me want to scream loud enough to break all the glass in all the world.

Past a certain point you have to accept that *you are in a fight* and no we don't always get to pick when we're in fights and that sucks, but guess what, if you don't fight back the thug attacking you doesn't feel bad, you just get beaten.

I find the framing of infighting increasingly unconvincing and annoying. There's no leftist infighting, there's just different groups of people with ideas about the world so different they're incompatible that you keep lumping together. You're just demanding everyone fall in line and listen to you.
